Vintage circa 1930 heavy silver plated champagne bucket or wine cooler from the Hotel Pierre in Manhattan. In excellent condition for its age, no major dents or damage, just lots of small bumps and surface marks. Marked on the base with the hotel name, and as made by Gorham in 1930. 

This wide and low bucket is large enough for a couple bottles on ice. Measures approximately 6 1/2" tall, 10" diameter at the top, nearly 12" across the handles, 7.5" diameter at the base. It weighs almost 5 pounds empty!
