A lovely circa 1929 heavy silver plated serving tray from the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club on the shore of Lake St. Clair in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. The original clubhouse building opened July 4th weekend 1929, dating this tray to the original opening of the clubhouse.
In excellent condition, no dents or damage, just lots of small surface scratches and marks you’d expect from old hotel silver that was used daily in a commercial environment. Marked with a crest on the front, and the club name on the back.
Measures approximately 14” long by 10” wide.
