A beautiful and very rare pair of antique circa 1922 silver plated grape shears made by Gorham for the Biltmore hotel in Rye, New York. Excellent condition, they have polished beautifully. marked with the hotel name and date on one side of the blades, on the backside with Gorham marks and the date stamp for the year 1922. There is a steel blade affixed to one side, which is removable for sharpening via two small screws.
