C. B. Blethen was publisher of The Seattle Times from 1915 until his death in 1941. The C.B. Blethen Award, which honors the best journalist in the northwest United States every year, was named after him.
In excellent condition for its age, no dents or damage, just very small marks and surface scratches from polishing, a couple shallow bumps near one handle. Minor tarnish that will polish beautifully if desired. No quality marks that I can find, but it tests as a solid sterling silver. Measures 12.25” tall to the top of the handles, weighs 546 grams or 19.25 ounces.
