A rare antique circa 1913 heavy silver plated champagne bucket from a Hudson Navigation Company steamship! Hudson river line silver is difficult to come by, and this is the first champagne bucket we’ve come across from this particular company; the Hudson Navigation Company ran between New York City and Albany, and their ships were known as some of the finest and most luxurious passenger steamers.

In excellent condition, no big dents or damage, just lots of small surface marks and scratches and one ding near the base on one side. There is mild to moderate tarnish and a bit of a patina but I don't believe there is much if any wear to the silver plating on the outside so it should polish up beautifully if desired. The inside has wear and discoloration from decades of standing water, but will brighten up a bit if desired. Marked on the front with the steamship company logo, and on the base with the steamship company name and Gorham marks including the Shamrock stamp for the year 1913.

Measures approximately 8.5 inches tall.
