An ultra rare antique circa 1911 English glass and silverplate match striker from the Savoy Hotel in London! Marked on the silver plated rim with the Savoy’s SH monogram, and inside the match holding cup with the hotel name, and Elkington makers marks along with the date stamp for manufacture in the year 1911. In great condition for its age, no major cracks, or damage to the glass, but there are lots of little flea bites from decades of use in a commercial environment. Mild wear to the silverplated rim. Measures approximately 2.75 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall.
