A beautiful antique circa 1908 silver plated trophy with deer antler handles atop a black painted wood stand, presented by the Portland automobile club on June 5, 1908.
Excellent condition for it's age, no major dents or damage, just a couple small bumps. The antler handles are all tightly attached to the cup without any breaks or damage. once upon a time there was an anti-tarnish lacquer applied, which is starting to turn color and wear in small spots, mostly on the edges. The silver plating underneath appears to be in perfect condition, so this lacquer could be removed by a professional, if desired.
Measures 12” tall including stand, 9” tall without the stand by nearly 10” across the handles.
