A rare antique circa 1886 silver plated champagne or wine bucket from the Hotel Cambridge in Cambridge, New York. Excellent condition for its nearly 140 years of age, small bumps, surface scratches and signs of use. It has polished up beautifully outside with discoloration and wear from sitting water on the inside. Marked on the front with the hotel name, and one the base with Gorham makers marks and the date stamp for manufacture in the year 1886.
