A wonderful antique circa 1885 oil painting of two kittens in a gilded wood frame. In great condition for its age, no large rips, tears or flaking/missing paint. There is one tiny separation in the canvas that can really only be seen when looking very closely or holding the painting up so light can shine through it. I’ve taken a close photo, it’s the last photo in the listing, the small white area on the kittens back is where this separation of the canvas has occurred. Otherwise, this piece is in amazing condition for its age! Signed in the lower right hand corner with the artist’s initials and dated 1885. 

Measures approximately 19.5 inches long by 13.5 inches tall including frame. The painting itself measures approximately 14.5 inches long by 8.75 inches tall.
