An antique circa 1840s English copper sauté pan and lid, marked with the name and address of a London confectioner! John Watson appears in numerous London directories during the 1840s, I have included a screen cap of one that I found during my research which indicates his profession as a confectioner. This is such a unique piece, It would be the highlight of any copper collection!

In excellent condition, small surface marks that you would expect from 180+ year old copper cookware, but no damage or structural issues. Beautiful dovetailed construction. Newly polished, re-tinned, and ready for use!

Measures 4 1/2” length, without iron handle; 9” length with handle; 2 7/8” high; and weighs 1 5/8 pounds
