A beautiful vintage circa 1950s heavy silver plated asparagus serving set, consisting of 3 pieces; a lower bowl with a grate to hold the asparagus that sits on top, and a sauce boat for hollandaise/bernaise, from the Connaught hotel in London, England. The perfect way to serve any vegetables with sauce, but would also be fabulous for fruit or desserts with the sauceboat used for dipping. Imagine a stack of shortbread fingers with icing drizzled over them, or berries drizzled with a salted dark chocolate. This is such a fun serving piece! In fantastic condition for its age, no dents or damage, just light surface marks, scratches, and signs of use. The silver has polished up perfectly. The sauceboat is marked with the hotel name on the front. Made by Walker & Hall.
Measures approximately 13 inches long by 8 inches wide by 6 inches tall including sauce boat.
