Vintage Christofle Silver Plated Wagons-Lits Orient Express Bowl

A beautiful vintage silverplated bowl made by Christofle. This bowl is nice, heavy hotel quality and has an intertwined WL monogram on the front, which is the early-mid 1900s era logo for Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits. Wagons-Lits was known for the finest railroad dining & sleeping cars, but most famously for being the creator and operator of the Orient Express luxury passenger train.

In excellent condition, no large dents or damage, just the usual small marks and signs of use you would expect from old railroad silver that was used daily. It has very minor tarnish that will polish up beautifully, very clean inside and out with only minor wear. Marked on the base with Christofle marks. The only issue is that this bowl originally had two arms and one has been removed, we have a number of these bowls and all had the arm removed professionally for some reason so we're selling them for half of what we normally sell these bowls.

Measures 2.25 inches tall by 5 inches long including handle (4 inches without the handle).
