A monumental antique circa early 1900s English copper stock pot with brass handles, by Léon Jaeggi & Sons for the historic Brown's Hotel in London, England!
In great condition, no dents or damage, sits flat and the handle is still firmly attached. It saw decades of commercial use, there are lots of little surface scratches, nicks, marks and signs of use in a commercial kitchen. Numerous small repairs to the base. The tin lining is in excellent condition, this piece has been professionally restored, polished and is and ready for use!
This incredible pan measures approximately 17 inches in diameter, 21.5 inches in width including handles, by 11 inches deep. It weighs over 25 pounds empty with a rim thickness of approximately 2.2-2.7mm. As you can see from the photos it is large enough to fit two cats if you can get them in there together, we could not as they both insisted on modeling the pot separately.
