A beautifully simple white enamel ladle with a hanging loop and deep bowl with holes for draining, made by a factory in Japan that has been making these enamel cooking implements for over 100 years. Measures approximately 3.5 inches wide at the bowl by 10.75 inches long.
About enamel: Enamelware is made by covering the surface of metal with a glassy film and baking it at high temperatures. As a result, enameled products have excellent durability, heat resistance, and heat retention properties. The glassy surface is also resistant to odors and stains.
