A big and beautiful antique circa 1900-1910s silver plated trophy cup, from the Pistakee Yacht Club in Illinois. The cup is surrounded by an intricate band featuring different sailing scenes, and engraved on one side to read:

In excellent condition for its age, no dents or damage. It has a dark antique patina but will polish up beautifully if desired, there doesn’t appear to be any wear to the silver plating other than perhaps a few tiny speckles on the handles. There is currently a beautiful antique patina that I don’t want to touch, because once it’s polished away it’s gone forever.
