A lovely antique circa 1914 silver plated serving tray from The Ritz Carlton hotel in New York City. This tray is about an inch and a half deep in the center with a wide rim, made to be filled with crushed ice to serve oysters, shellfish or seafood. In great antique condition, no big dents or damage, just some surface scratches, utensil marks and small signs of use that you would expect from old hotel silver that is 110+ years old. Marked on the base with the hotel name and Gorham marks for manufacture in the year 1914, engraved on the front with the hotels lion crest. Measures approximately 14 inches across by nearly 1.5 inches deep.
