A beautiful antique circa early 1900s copper pan with iron handle and hand-applied tin lining, from the Hotel Astor in New York City.
Excellent antique condition, lots of small signs of age and use in the way of small marks and surface scratches, but no dents or damage. This pot has been newly polished and retinned it so it is ready for use! Stamped "Hotel Astor" on one side, with marks from Mutual on NY and also stamped "B" on the other side of the handle.
Measures 12” wide by 4” high, nearly 22“ long including handle; this heavy hotel or commercial weight pot weighs nearly 8 pounds empty. The rim measures 2.5mm wide with slight variation.
