A lovely Antique 19th century Oil on Board Painting in the Hudson River School style, of a Pastoral Landscape with Cows at Esopus Creek Near Kingston. Excellent Condition to the period frame, some surface wear to the gold gilded painted wood, slight surface wear to canvas with lots of crazing in areas, mostly in sky and water. No artist signature.
Measures approximately 12.5" by 9.5" by 2" deep at the outer frame, painting itself is 8" x 5"
