A lovely antique circa late 19th Century copper sauté pan with iron handle and tinned interior. In amazing condition for its age, no big dents or damage, just the kinds of bumps, small marks and signs of use you’d expect from old copper that is about 120+ years old. This pan originally had many bumps and dings to the base, they have been almost entirely hammered out but there is a slight unevenness that's only obvious when it's on a perfectly flat surface like glass, it's sits nice and flat on our gas stove. This pan has been polished, re-tinned and is ready for use! Marked "L.F.D&H N.Y. 24 & 26 WOOSTER ST" which helps us date this pan between 1874-1885. Measures just a bit over 9 inches across not including handle, 18 inches in length including the handle, by 2 inches deep. This pot weighs a bit over 3 pounds 10 ounces empty, The walls vary from 1.7 mm to 2 mm thick. It has been polished and retinned and is ready for use!
