A tiny little antique circa late-1800s to early 1900s copper roasting or braising pan with lid, a souvenir from The Hotel Anglo American in Florence, Italy. This adorable little roaster came out of a great English estate and was part of a copper set for the child’s play house. In excellent condition, it's even newly re-tinned inside, so it actually could be used to cook or serve the world's most adorable little casserole. There are sturdily attached brass handles on either side of the body and the lid. In excellent condition, small marks that you would expect from 120+ year old copper cookware, small marks and dings but no damage or structural issues. No maker's mark but it's marked on the base with the hotel name. Measures approximately 3.5” wide by 2.25” deep by nearly 3” tall to the top of the lid.
