An antique circa 1907 English glass match striker with sterling silver rim and striking surface. This unique striker has a small silver cup on one side to hold the matches, a sterling silver striking pad on top, and the inside is hollow to serve as an ashtray, accessible through the larger silver rimmed hole in the side. Great antique condition, just some small marks and signs of age, a couple tiny flea bites but no chips or cracks. The sterling has some slight bumps and bruises, it is fully hallmarked for Sterling silver assayed in Birmingham in the year 1907. Measures approximately 3" tall by 3" wide.
