An antique circa 1880 horn whisky/spirit cup with sterling silver rim and cartouche. The sterling silver is fully hallmarked for London assayed in 1877. Excellent condition, no damage to the horn, just a few small bumps and signs of age/use to the sterling. The sterling is engraved to serve as a trophy "Liverpool Bicycle Club 1880” and “Won by J. S. Dick.” What a wonderful piece of early bicycle racing history!
