French Copper Tourtiere Pan - 9.5"

Current stock: 0 SOLD OUT
A beautiful antique French copper Tourtiere or gratin/roasting pan with hand-applied tin interior. This is clearly a hand-crafted piece, most likely from the late 1800s to early 1900s. The pan is round in shape, with sloped sides and a rolled upper rim. The pan has been stamped with the number "23" next to one of the rings, which corresponds to its diameter in centimeters. There is no manufacturer's stamp on this piece, but the craftsmanship is superb!

There are some light scratches, minor cosmetic blemishes and a bit of patina around the handle brackets, as would be expected for antique copper cookware.

9.5" upper diameter, 7.25" base diameter and 1.75" in depth
