A stunning antique English sterling silver and horn cup with glass bottom. Engraved with an armorial on the front sterling plaque reading "Ut Prosim" in latin, which translates to "That I May Serve" and the glass bottom is engraved "nothen." In great antique condition, the lower sterling band around the base is a little loose, but the cup it still watertight. A couple small bumps to the sterling, but no dents or damage. The glass bottom is still intact without cracks or chips. Both sterling bands are hallmarked for Sterling assayed in London in the year 1879.
